Biology Tuition Online

I was looking at some web sites about Online Biology Tuition.  I think I can do it, but lots of work need to be done. Initially, I would to like offer it free. Later, I might charge a small sum when more students are with me. Next few months I will try to put up something on trial. I will start with 6th form biology. The name of my teaching cum tuition blog should be "Ask Cikgu Liew".

I had sent my resume to Ipoh International School yesterday.  Hopefully there will some favourable reply.

Six Months After Retirement

I retired on the 10th September, 2011. Till today, it is already more than 6 month 21 days. Initially I wanted very much to go back to work. But now the urge to work is waning day by day. My CV is already in my computer for months, and just not completed. I better hurry up. Otherwise I will get so use to not doing anything and I will never want to work again.

Sixth day of Chinese New Year

Today is the 6th day of Chinese New Year. My trip to China still not available yet. I have telephoned may tour agents in Ipoh and KL, there just isn't any tour groups that will depart KLIA between 6th and 11th.

What a yawn. Hei, this is still the new year period and yet people have stopped travelling. I guess it the economic prospect that scared people away. Lai is still trying hopefully she will get one soon.

My destination this time is Shanghai and Jiangnan. I need to go this time as I have taken my leave and obtained permission to go. The permission to go was not easy to come by. Anywhere, this is my promise to Shiang and I have to make sure it materialise.

Hari Ibu Bapa

Today, we had Hari Ibu Bapa. The turnout was around 90%. I was very happy with this.

Jogathon 2008

SMK Menglembu will be having its Jogathon on 1/3/2008. This is the first Jogathon that SMKM has after so many years. Initially, the collection was slow. But the collection swells to more than RM30,000 in the last three days. Thank you to all students and staff for your help and contribution. You have helped to make our school a better place for all.

My First Blog

I am very happy today as I have created my first blog. Hopefully, I can post in this blog regularly. I will post about my thoughts on education in my capacity as a principal and a veteran teacher.
